Part-time English teacher for elementary school children (Ota-ku, Tokyo) 

E language house is a home-environment English school for local children. We are looking to fill a part-time English teaching position in our immersion course for elementary school children. Class size is 6-9 students. 


Qualifications:


-Fluent English Speaker


-Loves and respects children and understands children’s behavior and ability

-Professional and punctual

-Currently living in Japan
-Valid visa to work in Japan

-Experience in teaching English to children is a plus



Work hours:

3:30pm - 6:00pm (30min prep time + 2-hour lesson) Tuesday to Friday

8:30am-11:00am (30min prep time + 2-hour lesson) Saturday


5 days per week

*Priority will be given to someone who can work 5 days a week. 



Compensation:


2,500 yen per lesson hour and prep time (6,250 yen per day including lesson and prep time). 

There will be a salary increase every year up to maximum of 3,000 yen per hour. 

Transportation fee of up to 1,000 yen per day. (We can also arrange a bike from the nearest station.)


Location:

3-30-6 Omori-Minami, Ota-ku, Tokyo （東京都大田区大森南3丁目30‐6）

Nearest station---Showa-jima Monorail Station, JR Kamata, Keikyu Kamata, Otorii Station

February-March, 2021 (There will be a training period. New term starts first week of April.)
